Love Nowhere(15)

                                         

During her industrial training, she was doing her IT project and I was also doing the same here at my place. I thought I should view her project so that I could get some more ideas for mine. 

I opened Whatsapp and messaged her,

                    "How about your project? How is going?"

She was not online, but she came online within 2 minutes after delivery of my message,

"Working on it. How about yours? :)"

                     "Same here. Can you show me your project? I wanna get some ideas for my project."

"Yeah. You can see this after completion. Ok?"

I tried two more times to get her project, but she refused to give me. She didn't believe me, nothing could be bad than this. :( After that time, I never asked for her project. I have a lot of self-respect. I didn't talk with her the whole day.

Next day, I was going for dinner with my hostel buddies, and she called me,

"Hello Gourav!"

                             "Hmm. Say."

I was still angry with her.

"You didn't come online today. I was waiting for you."

                             "Really? Why?"

I was talking with very low voice. She sensed something,

"Are you okay?"

                           "Yeah. I'm. Why were you waiting for me?"

"I have something to tell you."

This time I wasn't really excited. 

                             "Hmm. Say."

"Actually when I was attending my training class today at Tata CMC. At the end of the training class, I got his message, that brother-cum-uncle, that devil."

                             "Ohh. What was inside the message?"

         Now I was little serious.

"He messaged me that I'm standing outside your training class to pick you up to home. I got scared and didn't come outside even after all the students left out the training center. After some time, I slowly came outside,  picked up the city bus and reached home. "

                             "Hmm. It's an indication that we should do something quickly."

"Hmm. I'm very afraid of him."

                             "I told you that you must inform your mom before anything bad happens."

"Hmm. Let's see."

                             "Hmm. "

I told her two more times that you should tell your mom about the whole incident, but she didn't do that.  I really don't know why? :P

I also told that give me contact number of that person and I'll talk to him. But she refused to do that too. 

Her landlord kid Sahil was very nice and sweet. One day, her aunt didn't come home in evening. She was late. Only Vina and Sahil were at home. They both were hungry. Sahil took her to the nearby restaurant. 

One day Vina was talking with me and Sahil was near to her.
He said, "Are you talking to you boyfriend?" She just laughed.

Sahil also shared that he likes a girl in his class. She has her fb id too in such a small age.
When Vina told about me to Sahil that I could hack Facebook ID's. He insisted to her to tell me to hack his crush ID. And I became a contract Facebook ID hacker without notice. :D

         Her industrial training was going good. But one day, she messaged me,

 "Call me immediately."

         I was always ready to call her and talk to her, but her sudden message was also showing that there is something wrong. 

         I remember,  it was my second ever call to her after when 5th semester exam result had declared. I called her, her voice was straightforward,

 "Hello Gourav"

                     "Ya Vina, say, why did you message me to call you?"

    But Inside I was like '' Thank you for that most beautiful message of all time :p '' 

 "Actually whatever I'm going to say to you wasn't possible via messages."

    I was like, Really? So finally you started loving me. And,  I thought I would behave like I'm no more interested or I don't love you that much now. 

                      "Ya say." (calm voice,  happiness inside) 

 "Actually as you know that I'm living with an aunt who has a girls hostel here."

  I was like, So where is my love? I don't love your aunt. :P

                      "Yes, I know. So?" (calm voice, confusion inside) 

 "Actually, that brother, I call him brother, because his age is not that much that  I could call him uncle. He is the husband of our aunt. He is messaging me from  past 2-3 days on Whatsapp like 'If you don't like that food at home, I could take you out for lunch' or 'We should go to watch a movie together. We will  make fun.' and many other messages, I will forward you later on Whatsapp."

                                "How did he get your number?"

 "I don't know. Aunt has my contact number., maybe by that way."

                                "Only messages? Is he doing anything else at home? You both are living in the same house. How could you live with that Devil there?"

 "In morning, evening, and night, Aunt stays at home. So at that time there is no worry. And in noon, I go for my training, aunt also goes for her work, Sahil goes to school and that crap to his way. No one at home."

                       "Who's Sahil?"

 "Son of aunt. 9-year-old."

                       "Hmm. Block him on Whatsapp. And you should share it with  you Mom. Because this is a sensitive case. There are still 15 days left in your training."

 "No. This is not a big problem yet. I stopped to reply his messages now."

I took her mom's number in case of any uneven incident. I also offered her that I could come to Indore to meet her but she denied and said that she would call if she would need me. 

                       "Hmm. What else? Everything is alright?"

 "Yeah. All good. How about yours?"

                       "Living without you. Think yourself, How should I be?"

 "Hehe. You are mad."

                       "Yeah, mad for you."

           I never talked with her like I did today on call. This time I was more open to her. She shared something exclusively with me and it gave me immense pleasure of my importance to her.

Our industrial training was going on. I was spending my time here in HCL alone and she was in Tata CMC, Indore. We were talking on Whatsapp every day.

She was having a plan to live with her Aunt in Indore during the training period but her aunt needed to go out-of-station for some time. And that's why, she was living in a girls hostel. But her guardian aunt was so friendly and sweet and my Vina was no different, so she let her stay her in a room inside her own home and not with other girls.

That day, she was online, I messaged her on Whatsapp,

                       "Hey."

"Hello. What do you do?"

                       "Engineering from MIT, Ujjain. :P"

I thought she is making fun and so I maintained the rythm. :P

"Do you know who am I?"

                   "You are Vina Arya from Khargone. :P"

"No. I'm her brother-in-law. She is not here and I have her phone."

I thought she is fooling me and continued to reply like I'm talking with Vina without any fear.

                        "Ohh Okay. Hey, How are you? :P"

"Fine. What's your name?"

Now I was having a doubt that it could really be her Brother-in-law. But I didn't feel afraid of it because if you are right at your place, there is nothing in the world that could stop you. But still I replied with care.

                        "Gourav Ratnawat. I'm Vina's friend."

"Yes. I know. That's why you are talking with me. From how much time you know Vina?"

                        "Since last two years. :) She is a good friend of mine."

"Hahahahaha... Good job Gourav. Vina here."

                        "Yes I know. ;)"

I had doubt but I was talking without any pressure and Vina seemed to be like it. 

"Why don't you get afraid? :)"

                        "There is no need to get afraid to love someone. :)"

I gave words to my thoughts and impressed her. She said that she tried the same thing on her other friends and no one finished the talk. You are the first one to do that. 

                        "How was your training going?"

"Good. Same as yours. ;)"

                        "How do you know that my training is going good? :O :P"

"It can never be bad. :)" 

I was feeling something changed in her way of talking. We were talking for more than 5 hour a day on Whatsapp since last two months. 

In these two months, I never skipped a single day, when I didn't chat with her. But today it was not the same. And I had to find the truth.

          Next day, she messaged me,

 "hi :)"
                                 "hello :)"

 "I'm not receiving Priya's call nor replying her message :/"
                                 "hmm :/"
 "Priya and Aalia are my good friends from 1st year. Aalia doesn't care about anyone,  but Priya cares for me :("
     
          Aalia was her classmate from CS-2. She was a very frank girl. She knew that I like Vina and that' why, she kept an eagle eye on me in college. She liked to keep every person's information in college. She was with Vina only to fulfill her needs related to class like assignments. Because no one in college wanted to be with her as I observed. Vina was also with her because she was with her from the first year and she was introvert so it was hard for her to make new friends easily. 

                                  "I know. You can have company of Arohi in college. She is also a good friend of yours. :)"

"Hmm. Thanks for everything. :)"
                                  "No need to mention. :)"

":). From where you are going to do your Industrial training?"

         It was ending of our sixth semester and we had to complete at least 15 days major industrial training in any IT company. HCL was one of the IT company, that came every year to our college to give training in college campus itself.

                                  "I have not decided yet. I'm thinking about HCL."

"Hmm. I want to go in Univast Info Pvt. Ltd., Indore."
                                  "Me and my friends are also thinking the same but I heard that Univast is not as good as we think."

"Hmm. Let's see. :)"
                                  "Yeah. :)"

        I was thinking that I would go with her for training and we would spend some time together. But I felt that she doesn't want the same because whenever I asked about the industrial training,  she excused with a different institute or company to join. 

        Finally, she went to another company, Tata CMC for training and I did my training from HCL. 

       I have not spent a moment together with her and I was talking with her since an year. I didn't have her single photo, I didn't feel her voice for a moment and it was more than one year passed that I was knowing her,  loving her. 

       But, whatever the scenario was, I was still calm. My father is an angry man. I was not different. But in Vina's case, I was still silent. My love for her was the reason.

I decided to tell Vina what I found about Priya. She was online on Whatsapp that day,

"Hey Vina, I have something to tell you."

                               "Say."

"Its about Priya."

                            "Ohh. I heard something too. Ohh,  You tell me first then. :/"

I thanked God as at least she already had something in her mind about Priya because if her image were clean in Vina's mind then after my words, a bomb could have been blast from Vina's side.

"What you heard?"

                                        "You say first. :P"

"No. Ladies first."

                            "Hehe. No. I'm giving you a chance. Happy. tell me now :P"

"Okay. I heard that Priya has affairs with many guys."

                            "Hmm. How do you know? :P"

Her short and calm reply amazed me. I thought she already knows everything about her, and she still wanders all around college with her. Huhh :O

"I hacked her ID and read all her chat. :P"

I used to say everything truth to Vina. I rarely told any lie to her anyday.

                                       "What? You hacked her ID? This is wrong, Gourav. :P What you read, by the way?"

"Many kind of chats. I can't tell you, but she is very uncompatible girl for a girl like you. She doesn't suit you. I also have screenshots of her chat with many guys."

                            "Okie. Don't tell me. Just send me those screenshots."

I was not able to send her screenshots. She was my good friend and I love her but still, I didn't know how strong her friendship is with Priya. Also, I didn't know, her feelings for me :P. And because all of that, to be on safe side,  I couldn't trust her too.

"I can't send you the screenshots because the language of that chat is very unsuitable for your health. You are not habitual of that."

                            "But I want to see them. Show me. :P"

I thought she doesn't have trust on me that's why she is asking for screenshots again and again.

I sent her screenshots after cropping the name of both the parties, Priya and her lover. Also, I  took care about the chat too. I sent her only that chat, which was safe means didn't include hyper - active words. :p :d

"Okay. Here it is. :P"

She got offline after seeing my screenshots. She even didn't reply me. I could understand her condition at that time. 

Vina had no real brother. They are two sisters only. She sworned a brother in college, who was her classmate. His name was, Daksh.

So, the big thing happened here is that Daksh was one of those guys, Priya was in an affair with. Vina was also knowing this thing, but she never accepted it in front of me. I knew she doesn't trust me. But now after a solid proof against Priya, she witnessed two attacks at the same time.

      It was ending of my 6th semester. We were getting closer to each other. I thank to Whatsapp for it, but I'm also angry with Whatsapp, I will tell you why this so? later in the story.

      But still in this period of more than a year of friendship, she neither dropped a single voice message in Whatsapp chat so that I could hear her voice clearly nor she gave me a single photo of her. Clear voice because I was not able to hear her voice in college, remember Donald duck. Also, I talked with her rarely in college. 

      At that time, I was also spending my time in trying to find vulnerabilities in Facebook so that I could hack someone's account. I was very much interested in ethical hacking and I performed many kind of hacking attack for learning purposes. I was succeeded in hacking some people's Facebook IDs too. Many of them were my classmates or batch mates. Because of my such activities, my hostel friends were too disturbed. Even they decided to not to open any message of mine, maybe by seeing my message, they could lose their Facebook ID. LOL! 

      Priya was one of the victim from all those persons. As she was a very good friend of Vina, I was interested in her too, but not exactly in the same way you are thinking right now. 

     I was sorry to myself, but I read Priya's every chat on Facebook. I know this is wrong, but actually there was a reason for that. I heard something not so obvious about her in college rumours. I'm calling them rumours because I don't easily believe in anything as even eyewitnesses could be wrong sometimes. 

      So, to know the reality, I decided to read her chat. Kalyan and Deepak, both were around me at that time. They both were my best buddies in my Hostel. So, we had nothing hidden between us and of course, I had no problem that I was making her chat public because it was not public, it was three times ME.

       My decision to read her chat was not wrong. I found something that really shocked me. She had near to half dozen affairs. Some of her affairs were with my classmates.

        She wrote to Aryan, one of my classmates,

 "Hey sweetu!"

                             "How are you sweetheart? :-*"

 "Very bad. Thinking about you only :P"

                              "Ohh. What will you do If I will come to you? :P"

 "I will hug you, kiss you, smooch you baby. I love you :-*"

       She wrote many other things to him, I'm just giving a view. 

       She wrote to Swastik, another classmate,

 "Baby, I'm coming to Ujjain from home. Please pick me up from Railway  station."

                              "Any time for you, baby."

      and other chats were also there. She had connections with many and my sweet innocent Vina. I was worried about her.

   

       How could Vina be friend of Priya? Maybe she doesn't know her reality. Should I tell her what I read?

        I took screenshots of some of the chats as a proof. And headed towards the only way I was connected to her.

          It was starting of 6th semester of my engineering. If I talk about Vina, nothing interesting happened in 5th semester, I was almost at the same place in her heart. 

        Our chatting on Whatsapp was going on. We both were becoming addictive of each other as I thought. :D Till date, I was not able to figure out what exactly she thinks about me. She was totally a confusing puzzle for me.

       I tried to figure out her feelings for me many times, but every time she was one step ahead than me. After knowing that I'm checking her reaction on something somewhere everytime, she used to say me, "Yeah do it again and again. Do Ph.D. on me, please. :P" , it was a taunt or an invitation, I never understood.

       My sixth semester was going not so well with the absence of her ducky voice, which was a rare thing for me. Until 6th semester, I rarely got a chance to talk to her. Also, I didn't call her. Actually I tried to call her in the 4th semester, but she didn't pick up and after that time, my extremely high self-respect never allowed me to do it again.

       It happens with me always, when I love something very deeply, whatever it is, my wish or any person, it becomes hard for me to leave that thing out of my every second thought. Vina was no exception. But my positive attitude always helped me a lot to move further, maybe some more time, maybe something better. :)

       Everything was going well and one day, our 5th semester's result announced by our respected university RGPV and this event unexpectedly fuelled my love scene. I was at home that time.

     I was all cleared means passed the exam. And she got a backlog means fail in one subject.

      It was hard to accept but It was true. Because she was really a studious and talented girl, but RGPV was more talented, I think.

    Whatever happened, I should feel bad for her, but I wasn't. I was waiting for a day from a long time where I could get a topic so that I could call her and hear her voice. And ultimately I was in confusion, should I call her with fake sympathy? 

       Seriously, I felt bad. But I had to motivate her too, so I called her but she didn't receive my call. After a long walk together on Whatsapp, she was still not picking up my call even when she needed a helping hand.

     I was sitting on the terrace. I realized that I'm hating everything in the world. Chattering of birds which was peaceful for me had become a thing of the past. I passed the 5th semester with a good percentile, but I realized I failed in the exam of life.

       But this was not the end. I got her call just after 5 minutes. And I thought, I overreacted. 

 (sound of sobbing)

        She was crying, I said 'hello'.

 "hello.",   she started crying more.

 "hey, what are you doing? crying like kids."

 "Why this happened with me only?" (sobbing continuously)

 "It is not happened with you only. Many others are there who have got a backlog in TOC."  TOC was the subject in which she got the backlog. 

 "I did a lot of study for this subject then how could they declare me as fail." (sobbing)

 "It is RGPV where anything could happen. We have done our best and results  are never in our hands. Also, we have an option, we could apply for revaluation too."

       I talked with her for more than 45 minutes that day. I told her two inspirational stories to motivate her. She stopped crying, but I became emotional for her.

       When I think about my life, my fortune, my luck, I can't stop smiling. Because I didn't get anything easily.

       This was my first time I talked with her on the phone, but instead of talking something about my love for her, instead of expressing my feelings for her, I was motivating her to get up.

       Again I realized that whatever happens with me is nothing less than the best that could happen. I'm saying this because I got a chance to be a shoulder for her. Is there any other better way to express love?

        It was starting of my 5th semester in the engineering. Those days, Whatsapp was a new chatting application which was surprisingly taking a place in every smartphone worldwide. I also installed it in my Lenovo which I bought recently on 12th June. I found nothing interesting in it and soon uninstalled it.

         Day by day, craze of Whatsapp was increasing and it necessitated me to install Whatsapp again. But this time, I found something very interesting and for that, I thought that I would never uninstall it ever. I found her. Vina Arya was on Whatsapp. It was very hard for me to talk to her in college because of her somewhat neutral behavior with me. So it was a good news for me to be in touch with her again.

          One day, she was online. I wrote her,

                           "hey" 
"hello :)"

        I thought she would get shocked after finding me on Whatsapp. But I was a fool.  It was me, who was new on there, she wasn't.

                                          "How's going?"

"Nothing as such. What about you?"

                                         "Enjoying Sunday :P"

"Ohkie. hehe :)"

  This OK makes me angry. :P

                                    "You know, When I don't see you in college any day, I become uncomfortable  :P"

          Now I tried to take her on my favourite topic. :P

"haha :D you are mad :P"

                                    "LOL. Thanks :) mad for                                             you"

 "hehe. Okay. I have to go now.
Talk to you later. :)"

          I didn't wanna let her go, but what could I do? 

                                     "Okay. Bye. :("

"hehe. What happened? :P"

                                     "Nothing. See you. :)"

"Ya. Bye. :)"

         Now I had a new channel where we could talk without any disturbance.  It was awesome that I could talk to her anytime I want because she rarely used Facebook but frequently used WhatsApp. 

       Many times on Whatsapp, I told her for a photo of her but she never gave me one. I said the word 'Please' a lot of times but she said the word 'Sorry' more than my word poor word, and vanished the effect of that.

         I told her that I would keep her photo safe and will not show it to anyone but no effect. I thought she doesn't have trust on me. But she always refused to accept it.

      About a month had been passed and Facebook was still the only medium for me to talk to her. I never tried or you can say, dared to talk to her face to face in college.

     Once a day, I updated my profile picture on Facebook and tagged her in that photo. I was taking everything as normal. But when she came online, she messaged me,

 "Gourav, please don't ever tag to me in any picture of yours."

      I was shocked but didn't show that.

 "How are you, Vina?"

 "I will not repeat it. Ok?"

  She was angry :O

 "You spoke and I heard. Forget it now. :P"

 "Hmm. Ok. I'm not feeling good right now. Talk to you later."

 "What happened? What the hell I did by tagging a photo to you? :P"

      My anger was leaving my brain.

 "Nothing as such. Just I don't want that everyone in college talk about us like Nitin and me. :/"

      I was speechless now. I thought about her fear for something which was not clear to me right now. I felt bad because she was comparing me with Nitin and I wanted to make a different image of mine in her mind so that she could love me in near future.  :P

 "hmm. Ok. Don't worry I will not do that again in future. Sorry. :)", I wrote.

 "Ok. Bye. Take care. :)"

 "Bye. Take care too. :)"

      It was my last chat with her on Facebook. One of the reason was that she rarely came online, so I didn't see her there. 

     After 2 months of this incident, One day, I got her message. It was my birthday. She messaged me 'Happy birthday :D' just an hour before the next day. I replied her 'thank you', but she never replied after that.

     During this time, I saw her many times in college, but I neither tried to initiate a talk nor she gave me any smile like she used to give to Nitin. I was seriously jealous with Nitin, with that person, she doesn't talk now.

      Once a day, It was our viva voce of a subject before the final exams. She was sitting on stairs with her friend, Priya. Priya was from CS-2. I went to her just for the sake of talking because I had nothing to say to her excepting that 'I love you' and that was definitely not the right place for the thing. Actually the time was not right for that.

"Hi, Vina. How was you external?"

      This was the single question I had. I stammered with my words after seeing her. She smiled under her lap and told me,

 "My number has not come yet."

  WTF, now what will I ask to you? If you had your external, then I would able to talk about externals with you. Now there is no topic left. :P

    I heard her voice first time. It was very slow and nearly inaudible. But I sensed it using my nose :P. Her voice was very similar to Donald duck.  

 "Ohh! Okay. hehe."

     She smiled on my no reason childish laugh. I came back to my friends.

     I was not talking to her on Facebook from past 4 months and after that I talked with her face to face first time. It was a great day Gourav.

We both would share,  a cup of wine..

We are not married, is it a crime..

        I talked with her many times via text messages after that incident. Soon I found her on Facebook and added her. I started talking to her there in order to reduce my phone bill. :P

       My feelings for her were greatly increasing these days. If any day, I don't see her in college, then I felt out of place, uncomfortable. I also told her about that many times in Facebook chats. But still, I never dared to talk to her face to face. I was afraid to do so. Maybe because I never talked with girls on such matters. Also, Vina was the girl, I proposed. How would I do eye contact with her?

      One day, I got to know something shocking from one of my hostel friends of Mechanical branch, I heard that Vina has an affair with a Mechanical guy named Nitin. It was a shocking news for me. That day she was online on Facebook in evening.

I dropped still a peaceful message,

 "Hey, How are you?"
 "Hi, I'm good and you?"

 "same here. :)"
 ":)" 

      that is how girls reply. Only boys have to ask, girls will only answer.

 "Can I ask something to you?"

 "Yeah say"

 "Who is Nitin?"

 "Nitin, from Mechanical?"

 "Yep!"

 "Yes, he is my friend."

      I was like Kitni bholi ban rahi hai :P.

 "I want to tell you something if you don't mind."

 "say, I have no mind. haha."

 ":) I heard from some Mechanical guys that you are in affair with Nitin. :P"

 "Gosh! Nopes. I don't know. Just one day, Sushi called me with Nitin's phone and after that Nitin was texting me continuously. One day Arohi and I were late and our college bus had missed, that day Nitin was also on bus-stop. He offered us to go to college via Tata magic. I knew her and there was no other option, so we went with him in Tata magic to the college. In Tata magic, he asked for my number even he already had my number. Also, I didn't tell him NO and gave him my number. Then we started talking via messages. That's it. We don't have anything between us."

      Sushi was her classmate from Section-2.

I asked,

 "Is he brother of Sushi? :P"

 "No, her friend."

   I knew that. I was just asking. Nitin, aren't you happy with Sushi. Don't dare to see this side :P

 "Ohh. Okie. What to do now? Nitin is spreading rumours. ;)", I was writing like a bravo!

   I was thinking, Never ever talk to him. He is not a nice guy. I'm :P

 She wrote, "I'm not going to talk to Nitin in future. How disgusting? :P. Even I will not smile at him and will totally ignore him. :("

   Ohh! So you do smile for him too. But I love your smile more than anyone else. Do it for me only :P :(

 "Hmm. Hmm."

She was sad,

 "This is so bad. Boys make friendship with a girl and after some time propose her. The ultimate aim of boys is same. And if girls don't accept their proposal then next day, what friendship, which friendship. Ufff :P :("

          But I'm not like them. Find out this diamond :P

 I wrote,
"LOL. This is not always right. See, I proposed you first and then did friendship with you. ;)"

 "hehe. Yes, you are different. :)"

 "yep. Limited edition. ;)"

 ":). Okie Good night. Bye. Take care."

 "Good night. Take care too. :)"

     Everything was superb now. I knew that I did wrong because I didn't stop her in breaking friendship with Nitin because rumours may not be spreaded by Nitin himself. But I didn't try. As you know, "Everything is fair in love and war. ;)"
