Love Nowhere (21)

All the final years students from all the engineering branches were targetting the upcoming TCS campus to get a job in TCS. It was known that TCS is the only company which recruits most number of the students. So, everyone was dreaming to get their seat reserved.

It was a usual day just before the TCS campus recruitment. I was in the class with my fellow batchmates. We've been called for an aptitude preparation test in a computer lab. It was a multiple choice aptitude test paper.

I was looking for her only for the whole time but she wasn't in sight. I thought perhaps due to limited sitting capacity, section-2 students were sitting in some other Lab.

We completed our test and then got shifted to the closed auditorium for bunch of lectures related to upcoming campus recruitment.

I wasn't able to find her there too. She may be hiding from me because I commented on her suit last day. But I knew that I cared for her and she would not mind that.

After a few sessions of intellectual words from different faculties, our HOD started asking for the answers we marked in the test we gave that day. He was asking like who selected A, B, C or D option for a particular question. 

In one of the question, when they asked that who marked for option 'B', I raised my hand because I was the one. It turned out to be an easy question as I saw around me. I was the only one who selected the option 'B'. This was a point of embarrassment for me. Suddenly one more hand raised up behind me and now I wasn't the only idiot who marked the simplest question wrong. 

I was relieved being the centre of attraction at that time. We finished the session soon and I went back to hostel.

At night on the same day, she messaged me,

"You didn't see me today. You were busy studying the whole day. :(", she said in complaining tone.

"Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Daantey (the pot is calling the kettle black). I was looking for you the whole day.", I wrote while thinking that she is messing with me.

"I wore this dress today to make you feel better and you didn't even meet me", she sent a pic of her while messaging me.

She was wearing a big long sleeves Pakistani style shaded green suit. She wore that suit because I was happy with that sleeveless suit of her she was wearing the last day.

She was all trying to do things for me, making me feel comfortable, doing this and that for me. I knew she loves me too otherwise who does that someone.

"You were looking great today but I don't say that you wear this long sleeves suit only. It was just that sleeveless suit was not a proper fit from upper side so I told you not to wear that again.", I clarified that I'm not a narrow minded person.

She ignored discussing this further and wrote,

"You know it was me who raised the hand in that question to give you company there. :)", she was smiling.

I got filled up with lots of love after knowing her sweet gesture of care for me. I regretted that I didn't meet her today.

"I love you more than anything else. You're such a cutie pie.", I wrote my heart out.

She never directly said that she loves me and this time too,

"Let's sleep, Gourav. And keep reading the subject books for TCS. Goodnight.", she closed the scene for today.

I was only focusing on TCS at that time and not on her much. I thought she finally felt my love and now she became more open about her love for me. I was in the feeling of contentment that I'll take care of the things after TCS and that's why I was taking the gestures of her love lightly.

Love Nowhere (20)

On one of the day before the TCS campus, final year students of all the branches were called to the closed auditorium. There were many things going on in college to prepare for the TCS recruitment.

Faculties were giving instructions on how the recruitment will be done by TCS. We got to know that there will be an aptitude and email writing test in the first phase. Every student who clears the phase-1 would appear for a Technical and a HR interview round in the second phase.

As per the TCS recruitment guidelines, top 5 students from every branch would be exempted from giving the aptitude test and they would directly be giving the email writing test in the phase-1. I already knew that I'm in the top five students in my class.

They called top five students of every branch on the stage one by one by their name. I saw that she was the most happy seeing me going on the stage. 

After this session at the closed auditorium, college time was off so I headed towards the hostel. I saw Vina outside the Training & Placement Cell cabin. She was in a printed sleeveless suit.

"Where were you? I was trying to call you but you didn't pickup and then you were out of coverage area", she was saying that like she has all the rights over me. I liked that a lot.

I checked my cellphone. There was missed call from her. I thanked God that I saw her there in college otherwise I would be going back to hostel.

"I had some work here from TPA(Training and Placement Associate). I told Ayesha to go. I thought I would call you and you would be with me here.", she continued.

She let Ayesha go back to home so that she could spent some time alone with me.

"What are you thinking?", she tapped me.

"What work do you have with TPA, girl?", I smiled while saying.

"I had some formalities left related to the campus. TPA told me to meet in his office after the closed audi session. So I thought you should be with me."

That TPA guy didn't have a good sight over girls. Everyone knew that.

We went inside his office. He was there on desk. As we reached him, he got a call and he told us to wait over a sofa until he comes back.

We were there sitting inside his office. This moment we didn't have much words to talk. I was looking at her and she was looking at me. There was no one else and I wanted to hold her hand. We both were at the opposite corner of that three seater sofa. I saw much of the love inside her eyes for me. I wanted to hug and kiss her on her forehead. But before I crossed my fingers with her's, TPA came back.

I stood there and he started doing formalities she left with related to TCS campus. The suit she wore that day was sleeveless and not a proper fit. I catched TPA having the dark eye on her. 

"I didn't like your dress today.", I told her having an angered face after coming out of the office.

"Why? What's wrong with this suit?", she chuckled.

"It doesn't fit you properly. That TPA was looking badly at you. I didn't like that. ", I said in a caring tone.

"You care too much." 

She didn't look happy with my comment over her suit. We went to the bus stop and I came back to hostel after her bus left. Perhaps I was being over possessive for her or I was caring for her, I knew only one thing that I loved her from the bottom of my heart.

           I used to express my feelings for her on regular basis by using emojis while chatting or saying her the three magical words. I always tried to know her feelings for me too.

           She always ended up things like "You know everything, Gourav" and I'm like, "I want to listen it from you."

We used to talk a lot on WhatsApp those days. One day we started talking at around 9 PM and went on talking till 4 AM in morning.

During chatting on WhatsApp, she sent me a bollywood song clip,

"What is this clip?", I said.

"Watch this. This will tell you what I think about you.", she said while smiling.

I was curious but the internet was really slow. I asked for a hotspot to a friend in Hostel,

"You finished your data while talking to girls.", he said with a crooked smile and started his WiFi hotspot.

The video was downloaded now and the song was,

I listened to this. I listened to this clip again and again. She was waiting for my reply there. 

She finally felt my love. I can't express how extremely happy I was at that time. She expressed her feelings for me through this song.

There were only 15 more days to go for TCS campus recruitment so I thought we should focus on TCS before anything.

"I would comment on this after TCS campus recruitment.", I replied while hiding a mountain of happiness inside me.

"Okay. We'll focus on TCS only.", she said.

This was the time to celebrate. But one of the decisions which I regretted later. 

Love Nowhere (18)

That night I wasn't able to sleep. This was the first time we spent some time together and I was feeling like I could spent my whole life like this only. 

The other day I saw her in college from a distance. She was in that classic blue suit sitting on stairs with a guy. It was Saturday. Yes and we do not have classes on Saturday. "Then what was she doing here?", I questioned to myself.

I wanted to go to her and ask her the same. I had a complete round out of the college and stepped inside from the place where she was sitting on.

She was busy studying some figures. The guy with her was from her class, sweet dog. I shouldn't say that but I can't help it.

"Hey Vidhi !", I tried to be calm.

And then I saw her face out of the books hidden under tresses. It was just like a moon rising over the clouds.

She said, "Hi", surprisingly.

"Preparing for TCS, Hnn", I taunted while looking at the guy. I almost sat there while saying this. 

How could I leave her alone now with some guy? 

They were doing some reasoning puzzles that I never saw before.

"Would you try this?", she put the notebook in my hand.

Oh ! I can try anything for you, my dear.

It was simple circle puzzle but I never did it before. I tried and almost solved it. She was smiling at me now.

It should be me you always study. I left her then and went back to hostel. I made my point and I was happy.
